Nepal Telecom Launches 4G Service at Murmatop Near Rara Lake

Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has launched 4G service at Murmatop, a place famous for viewing the beautiful scenery of the famous tourist destination Rara Lake located in Mugu district.

This service, which came into operation from Asar 15, will provide reliable communication facilities in the Murmatop area as well as on the trekking route.

Murmatop, located within the Rara National Park area, is a very popular destination for the unparalleled view of Rara Lake, which can be reached after a few hours of trekking from Rara Lake. From this point, the beautiful natural scenery of Rara Lake, various snow-capped mountains, and Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces can be clearly observed.

With the expansion of 4G service in Murmatop, tourists, local residents, and trekkers will be able to easily use high-speed mobile internet service. With this facility, tourists will be able to easily share their travel experiences, photos, videos, and live updates through social media. The company believes that the expansion of modern telecommunication service access in the said area will further support the promotion of tourism in the Rara region.
