Speaker Aryal Emphasizes Need for Unity Among State Organs for Development

Kathmandu. Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal has said that unless the pace and spirit of the executive, judiciary, and legislature align, results desired by the people cannot be achieved. Speaking at a program organized at Singha Durbar on Tuesday on the occasion of the 68th Parliament Day, he stated that the literal adherence to the constitution and the concept of the rule of law should not be weakened under any circumstances.

'To succeed in our zeal for nation-building, our desire to rapidly develop the country, and our resolve to work effectively on issues of public livelihood, the pace and spirit of all three organs – the executive, judiciary, and legislature – must align with each other,' said Speaker Aryal.

According to Speaker Aryal, functional unity and dynamism among the three major state organs are indispensable for the country's prosperity, good governance, and the eradication of corruption.

Speaker Aryal urged all parties to be active in creating an environment that inspires Nepalis scattered worldwide in the course of foreign employment to return home. He stated that civil society and stakeholders must continuously hold the state accountable to truly make the country livable and provide a sense of prosperity.

'We must all strive to create an environment that instills a feeling among our brothers and sisters living in various countries around the world that at least now Nepal has truly become Nepal, Nepal has become livable, and we must return,' said Aryal.
