Chinese Ambassador Zhang Mao Ming States Youth Hold Key to Nepal-China Future and Bilateral Relations

Kathmandu. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Mao Ming has stated that the future of both Nepal and China and the bilateral relations lie in the hands of the youth.

Addressing the virtual session of China-Nepal Youth Forum 2026, he expressed his happiness at being able to connect with the youth of both countries in this manner.

Emphasizing the need to empower the young generation to build a strong strategic partnership between the two countries in the new era, Ambassador Zhang clarified that the youth are the main foundation of China-Nepal relations. Ambassador Zhang said that the youth of Nepal and China can cooperate in various fields to make mutual understanding stronger and deeper.

Mentioning the need to learn from each other's experiences and learnings in the field of national good governance for the development of innovation and strong leadership, he also urged the youth to actively participate in collaborations of mutual interest in various fields that would benefit both countries.
