Film 'Jalaki' to be Screened Nationwide from December 4

Kathmandu. Film 'Jalaki' will be screened nationwide from December 4. The production unit announced the release date by releasing two posters of the film on the occasion of Asar 15, Rice Day.

The released posters feature the main actors of the film, Sonam Topden and Upasana Singh Thakuri, presented in two different psychologies. One poster depicts the bright side of love, intimacy, and trust, while the other poster highlights silence, pain, and the emotional struggle within a relationship.

The film, directed by Ashok Thapa Magar, director of the superhit film 'Khusma', is based on the story of the Magar community. Produced under the banner of M Media Production, the film stars Shilpa Maskey, Maotshe Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Astitwa Bhattarai, Sahara Hangma Limbu, Rajani Gurung, Raju Regmi Magar, Usha Khadki, Khadga Bahadur Pun (Khabapu), Luniva Tuladhar, Sangita Thapa, Karma Lama Tamang, Bhavana Magar, Raj Kauchamagar, Duisang Thin, along with Sonam Topden and Upasana Singh Thakuri, and Captain Vijay Lama in a special role. Child artists Munjan Thapa Magar, Nulamma Bantawa, and Rinshi Dhanaha Magar will also be seen.

Miss Sikkim Sahara Hangma Limbu has debuted on the Nepali silver screen with this film. The film, produced by Om Ghartimagar, Birbahadur Lama, Chandrabahadur Bhattachan, Betane Magar (Babita Rana), Manbahadur Dhanaha Magar, and Sushmita Budhathoki, features cinematography by Shailendra D. Karki and music by SD Yogi and Sarita Rai. The film will be distributed by Govinda Shahi's Kafiya Films and Kuber Cine Distribution.
