15-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi Selected for Indian T20 Cricket Team for Ireland and England Tour

Mumbai. 15-year-old young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been selected in the Indian T20 cricket team for the tour of Ireland and England. He has been given the number 3 jersey in the senior team. 

India's tour is set to begin on June 26, for which the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has also shared a video of Vaibhav on social media. The first group of the Indian team has already departed for Ireland today.

Suryavanshi, who has been selected in the Indian team for the first time, has become the youngest Indian player in history to be selected for the national team. Responding to his selection, Suryavanshi said that this moment is beyond words.

He mentioned that the dream he had on the day he first picked up a bat and stepped onto the field has now come true. According to Vaibhav, this is the biggest leap of his career so far, and this feeling is impossible to express.

Throw-down specialist Raghu handed Suryavanshi the team jersey in his hotel room. Vaibhav said that when he saw his name on the jersey, he couldn't believe it at first and couldn't hide his happiness. He said it was a moment he had never even imagined, and when it became a reality, he didn't know how to react.

The Indian T20 team announced for the tour of Ireland and England includes Shreyas Iyer (Captain), Tilak Varma (Vice-Captain), Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dube, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Siraj, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Prince Yadav.
