Koshi Province Chief Minister Highlights Success in Dedicated Leadership

Morang. Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki has said that a person who leads the country with dedication to the country and the people will always be successful.

Speaking at the eighth 'Nagendraprasad-Ashalata Rizal Education, Culture and Social Service Award' distribution ceremony organized by Ashalata Rizal Pratishthan in Biratnagar today, he emphasized that leadership should also take positive initiatives for positive change in society.

At the ceremony, former banker Anilkeshar Shah and Pindeshwar Sanskrit Secondary School in Dharan, Sunsari were honored with the 'Nagendraprasad-Ashalata Rizal Education, Culture and Social Service Award' along with a cash prize of one lakh rupees. He recalled that the late Rizal had made great contributions to the country's education, health, and preservation of culture and religion, stating that he is still remembered by all as an efficient administrator and a nationalist leader.

Chief Minister Karki said that the provincial government will operate programs from the upcoming July for adolescent girls studying in grades 9 to 12 in private and community schools, aimed at making them good and civilized citizens focused on national service. He praised the award established by the Pratishthan for identifying and honoring distinguished personalities not only in Koshi Province but also in other parts of the country.

Province's Minister for Tourism, Forest and Environment, Bhim Parajuli, said that the youth generation will always remember the education, health, and social work contributed by the late Rizal, and his contribution will inspire everyone.

Former Chief Minister of the Province, Kedar Karki, mentioned that the late Rizal was a personality who united society and maintained harmony. Honored personalities Shah and the founder of Sanskrit Secondary School, Purushottam Bhattarai, emphasized that all parents should strive to make their children religious, cultured, and nationalistic.

Pratishthan Chairperson Indira Rizal, Vice-Chairperson Suresh Sharma, Prof. Gopal Bhandari, Advisor Prabhu Parajuli, Prof. Gopal Adhikari, and others discussed the contributions made by the late Rizal in the fields of education, health, and religion.
