Germany's Jamal Musiala Key Player Against Ivory Coast in 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Kathmandu. In a very important match of Group 'E' of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, all eyes will be on Jamal Musiala when Germany faces Ivory Coast. 

This star player from Bayern Munich has already established himself as Germany's most creative and unpredictably performing attacking player. 

He has the ability to change the result at any time of the game with a single dribble, pass, or excellent shot. Against Ivory Coast, with their physically strong and disciplined defense, Musiala's game could be decisive for Germany to break down the opponent's defense.

A significant turning point in his international career was UEFA Euro 2024, where he shared the Golden Boot award by scoring three goals.

His performance in that tournament confirmed that he is Germany's next superstar who can shine on big stages. Although Germany was eliminated in the group stage of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Musiala played three matches and provided one assist. In the 2026 World Cup, he has made a good start by scoring his first World Cup goal against Curacao.

In club football, Musiala's rise at Bayern Munich is impressive. After arriving from Chelsea's academy in 2019, he became the most talented young player in the Bundesliga. He is the youngest player in Bayern's history to debut in the Bundesliga.

By 2026, he had played over 150 Bundesliga matches, scoring nearly 50 goals, and over 220 matches in all competitions, scoring around 70 goals. He has played a key role in winning multiple Bundesliga titles for Bayern. Even after returning from injury, he has maintained his reputation as one of the world's most exciting young players by scoring crucial goals and providing assists in Bayern's title run this season.
