CTEVT Vice-Chairmanship: 25 Applicants Approved, 4 for Member Secretary

Kathmandu. Applications of 25 individuals have been approved for the vacant Vice-Chairmanship of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Applications of four individuals have been approved for the vacant Member Secretary position.

The Ministry of Education and Sports published the approved list of applicants on Friday. As per the application call published on Jestha 21, applicants who have applied and met the process and qualifications will now have to give interviews and presentations within the time given by the evaluation committee.

The Minister of Education and Sports is the ex-officio Chairperson of the Council, and after the vacancy of office bearers, Anoj Bhattarai has been appointed as the acting Member Secretary. Similar to other bodies, the Council became without office bearers after a special ordinance was issued for the removal from office by the President upon the recommendation of the government.
