Two Autos Collide in Dang, Injuring Nine

Dang. Nine people have been injured in a collision between two autos in the Phulbari area of Tulsipur Metropolitan City-13, Dang. One of the injured is in critical condition.

The accident occurred when an auto with registration number Ra 1 Ha 4465 coming from Phulbari towards Tulsipur and an auto with registration number Ra 1 Ha 7147 coming from the opposite direction collided. Auto driver Vikram Chaudhary, 22, residing in Tulsipur-13, driving Ra 1 Ha 4465, was seriously injured in the accident.

He sustained internal injuries to his face and body. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver Chaudhary had consumed alcohol.

Similarly, Vijay Chaudhary, 21, and Susmita Chaudhary, 20, residing in Ghorahi Metropolitan City-07, who were traveling in the same auto, sustained minor injuries. The driver of the other auto, Ra 1 Ha 7147, Rudra Shahi, 46, residing in Tulsipur-13, and passengers in the same auto, Hiralal Khatri, 13, Govinda Ghimire, 21, Keshari Ghimire, 35, Harikala Buda, 27, and Laxmi Buda, 17, sustained minor injuries.

All the injured are undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital Tulsipur. Police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
