MP Raises Concern Over Police Search of Minister's Residence

Kathmandu. In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, MP Rajendra Kumar Rai drew the government's attention to the police search of the residence of Koshi Province's Internal Affairs Minister Indramani Parajuli.

Taking special time in the meeting today, MP Rai drew the government's attention to the police conducting a search without reason at the residence of Minister Parajuli on Thursday night at 10:00 PM while the minister was in Sankhuwasabha.

"While Minister Parajuli was not at home, the police searched the quarters at night," he said, "Why did the police do this? I want to know this from the government."

MP Aren Rai drew the government's attention to the plight of consumers due to the theft of 18 tolas of gold mortgaged at a bank in New Baneshwor during the Genji movement.

In the meeting, Speaker Dolprasad Aryal had requested to speak by demanding time only if there was a serious incident during the special time.
