Bagmati Province Allocates NPR 5.37 Billion for Industry, Tourism, and Transport Ministry

Hetauda. Bagmati Province government has allocated a budget of NPR 5.37 billion for the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, and Transport in the upcoming fiscal year. Presenting the budget in the parliament, the province's Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Prabhat Tamang, stated that programs such as strengthening the service delivery of the transport office and digitizing the transport sector will be operated with this budget.

According to him, the provincial government will advance the work of printing driving licenses within the province in coordination with the federal government in the upcoming fiscal year. The provincial government has mentioned in the budget statement that it will develop Sauraha in Chitwan as a meeting operation area.

He stated that budget has been arranged for the construction and operation of industrial villages for the development of the industrial sector in the province.
