Indian Export Ban Halts 83 Tea Industries, Nepali Congress MP Raises Issue in Parliament

Kathmandu. The issue of 83 tea industries being closed due to India's export ban has been raised in the House of Representatives. Nepali Congress MP Narendra Kumar Kerung raised the issue of tea industries being closed. 

Speaking during the emergency time of the session, Kerung stated that 3 lakh kilos of tea cultivated and exported by Nepalis have been stopped in India and 7 lakh kilos of tea are stuck in the industry's store. 

Kerung demanded that the government immediately solve the problem, stating that the employment of tea factory workers and tea-picking workers has been lost due to the export ban. He also demanded an immediate solution to the problem by doing G2G with India.
