Rastriya Swatantra Party's Far-Western Province Convention Begins

Dhangadhi. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)'s Far-Western Province convention is starting from today. The convention has been organized with the aim of making the provincial organization more effective, setting future action plans, and electing new provincial leadership.

The inauguration of the convention is scheduled to be done by the party's General Secretary Bhupadev Shah. Representatives from various districts of the province, leaders-workers, and well-wishers are expected to participate in the program.

A new provincial working committee will be selected through the convention. However, there is talk within the party circles that the current provincial chairman Prakash Bist and provincial general secretary Santosh Joshi may be re-elected to the leadership. It is said that the current leadership has maintained the trust of the workers due to their active role in expanding the provincial organization, membership campaign, and various political activities.

Although the opinion within the party appears to be strong in favor of continuity rather than leadership change, the formal decision on leadership will be made only after the filing of candidacies, consensus, and the election process.
