Ravi Lamichhane Holds Talks with Opposition Leaders to End Parliamentary Stalemate

Kathmandu. To end the stalemate seen in the Federal Parliament, ruling party National Independent Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is holding discussions with opposition leaders. 

Chairman Lamichhane is holding discussions with leaders including Chief Opposition Party Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party Leader Bhimraj Angdembe, Nepali Maoist leader Barshaman Pun, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chief Whip Kushbu Oli at the Parliament Building in Singha Durbar. 

Lamichhane had called for discussions while the opposition parties were holding a meeting at the Congress Parliamentary Party in Singha Durbar. 

The opposition has been obstructing the House after Prime Minister Balendra Shah expressed in the House of Representatives meeting that Nepal has encroached upon India's border.
