Rastriya Swatantra Party Bagmati Province Election Postponed Due to Technical Issues

Kathmandu. The election program under the Bagmati Province convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been postponed for some time. The party's Central Election Commission issued a notice today clarifying that the election process had to be temporarily halted due to technical and managerial reasons.

The election program of the convention, which started on Tuesday, was postponed until 8 am on Tuesday. However, the commission has expressed serious concern over the issue of some representatives returning from the polling station due to the spread of misleading information that the convention has been completely canceled.

Central Election Commission Chief Bhuvan KC clarified that the election was stopped to correct some errors in the ballot papers and voter list, to properly address the complaints and disputes in the adjustment list of about 400 people, and to add necessary manpower to the provincial election committee to facilitate the election process.

He informed that sufficient time will be given for the representatives who returned due to confusion to participate in the voting process again.
