Government Reassigns Vice President's Office Secretary Krishna Hari Pushkar

Kathmandu. Vice President's Office Secretary Krishna Hari Pushkar has been pulled into the additional group of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office by the government.

Secretary Pushkar was pulled into reserve on Friday on the instruction of Prime Minister Balen Shah, a secretary working at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office informed Ratopati. On Thursday, Secretary Pushkar was interrogated by the police for violating the chain of command by sending an SMS. After news about that came in the media, he was pulled into reserve on the instruction of Prime Minister Shah.

Secretary Pushkar is going on mandatory retirement on Asar 24 due to the five-year service limit. On Thursday, Secretary Pushkar had sent an SMS to Prime Minister Shah requesting him to recommend him for ambassador, stating that there was no possibility of him becoming the Chief Secretary after Asar 24.
