Kathmandu Metropolitan City Administrative Building Construction 35% Complete

Kathmandu. The construction of the new administrative building of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been completed by 35 percent. Significant progress has been made in a short period since the construction of the building, which is under construction in Teku, Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Project Director of Building Construction Mahesh Bhatt informed that 35 percent physical and 30 percent financial progress has been made within 94 days of the start of construction. According to him, the construction work of the building started on Chaitra 22. Currently, the basement construction is complete and preparations are underway for the casting of the basement cover slab. The construction of the building's structure is progressing at a rapid pace, with the goal of completing the construction before the deadline. As per the contract, the building construction must be completed by Kartik 22, 2084. Currently, 70 skilled and unskilled workers are deployed at the construction site. In addition, 10 technical personnel including a project manager and site supervisor have been mobilized. The project stated that the work is being carried out in compliance with all necessary safety standards and safety protocols at the construction site. "We started the project to build the Kathmandu Metropolitan City building on Chaitra 22, and it has been 94 days until today," said Project Director Bhatt. "We have achieved 30 percent financial and 35 percent physical progress. Although the final handover date is Kartik 22, 2084, we are working with the preparation to complete it as soon as possible." Providing information about the current status of the structural construction, he added, "We are currently preparing to cast the cover slab after completing the basement work. 70 workers and 10 technical personnel are working at the construction site, adhering to all safety standards." An eight-story administrative building is being constructed on approximately 6 ropanis of land belonging to the metropolis. Acting Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol also inspected the under-construction building on Wednesday. During the inspection, she instructed the construction company to work towards completing the construction within the stipulated time.
