Asia Cup Qualifier: Singapore sets 152 runs target against Nepal

Kathmandu –Singapore posted a target of 152 runs against Nepal in the fourth match of the ongoing 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. Elected to bat first after winning the toss, Singapore made 151 runs in the 42 overs at the loss of all wickets.
Chetan Ramchandra Suryawanshi contributed 60 runs for Singapore, while Anish Paraam 31 and Karthikeyan Subramanian 20. Nepal's Sandeep Lamichhane and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi took three wickets each, while Sompal Kami and Basant Regmi claimed two each. Earlier, Nepal defeated Malaysia by 19 runs in the previous match on Saturday.
The event contested by the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Hong Kong, Nepal, Malaysia and Singapore is underway in Malaysia. The top two winning teams will meet in the final and the winner will qualify for the Asia Cup, the One Day International (ODI) cricket tournament, to be held later this month in the UAE.
