4 Dead, 16 Injured in Heavy Rains in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province

Islamabad. Four people have died and 16 have been injured due to heavy rains in Bannu district of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, regional officials said on Saturday.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority said that strong winds in various parts of Pakistan have damaged many houses. As a result, local residents have died and been injured. The authority has stated that severe weather has also caused damage to livestock.

Local authorities and emergency agencies are continuing relief efforts in the affected areas, and assessments are being carried out to determine the extent of the damage and casualties. The authority has urged residents to exercise caution during adverse weather and stay away from buildings and structures at risk of collapse.
