Former Chief Minister Rajkumar Sharma Single-handedly Obstructs Karnali Parliament

Surkhet. Former Chief Minister of Karnali, Rajkumar Sharma, has single-handedly obstructed the parliament. Sharma obstructed the parliament at the very beginning today, raising the issue of nationality during the discussion on the policy and program presented in the parliament on Wednesday.

Sharma stated that there was no discussion in the provincial assembly regarding Prime Minister Balen Shah's statement in the center that India's land has also been encroached upon by Nepal.

"Yesterday, such issues of nationality should have been discussed," he said, "but yesterday, the policy and program were suddenly brought in a guerrilla style. What policy, what program, if the nation itself does not exist?"

Sharma, who went to court after being disciplined by the CPN, has been retained as a member of the Provincial Assembly by the court. Although Speaker Nanda Gurung was stating that the government's official position would come, Sharma did not agree.

After Sharma stood in the parliament for 38 minutes, Speaker Gurung adjourned the meeting for 15 minutes.
