Nepali Congress Forms Parliamentary Party Executive Committee

Kathmandu. The main opposition party Nepali Congress has formed its parliamentary party executive committee. The chief of the parliamentary party executive committee is the parliamentary party leader Bhishma Raj Angdembe. Deputy leader Abhishek Pratap Shah has been designated as the deputy chief. 

Dr. Shahjan Khatun has been nominated as the treasurer and Madan Krishna Shrestha as the secretary of the executive committee. 

Six members have been nominated to the 12-member executive committee. The nominated members of the executive committee are Pavitra BK, Kalibahadur Sahakari, Rukminidevi Koirala, Jayapati Rokaya, Harinadevi Kami, and Sushila Dhakal Acharya. The Nepali Congress parliamentary party office has informed that 2 members are yet to be nominated. The Congress party stated that the executive committee has been completed to make the party's role in the parliamentary party meeting and in the house more effective and organized.
