Weather Forecast: Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in Several Regions

Kathmandu. Currently, the upper atmosphere's western low-pressure line, local winds, and a low-pressure line near Nepal from west to east are influencing the weather.

Due to this influence, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as other Himalayan and hilly regions, are experiencing generally cloudy skies. The remaining Terai regions will have partial cloud cover. Moderate rainfall is occurring in some parts of Lumbini Province, and light rainfall in a few places in Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

This afternoon, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with other Himalayan and hilly regions, will generally be cloudy. The remaining Terai regions will have partial cloud cover. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunderstorms in some parts of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in one or two places in the Terai regions of Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. There is also a possibility of wind and dust in a few places in the Terai region of Lumbini Province.

Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, along with the country's Himalayan regions, will generally be cloudy, while the hilly regions and the Terai region of Lumbini Province will have partial cloud cover. There is a possibility of light rain in a few places in Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces, as well as in the Himalayan and hilly areas of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai of Lumbini Province, and the Himalayan regions of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
