Pokhara Metropolitan City Clears Debris After Demolishing Illegal Structures in Prithvi Chowk

Pokhara. The Pokhara Metropolitan City has intensified the work of removing debris in the Prithvi Chowk area after demolishing illegal and encroached structures to make the tourist city of Pokhara beautiful and organized. The Metropolitan City has bulldozed the Prithvi Chowk area in the process of removing structures built by encroaching on public land within its city limits. The Metropolitan City had bulldozed the encroached structures in front of Hong Kong Market in Prithvi Chowk with special interest on Jestha 14. The Metropolitan City had previously urged to remove those structures that had been operating for a long time by encroaching on public roads and land. After ignoring the Metropolitan City's request, the Metropolitan City's bulldozer team completely destroyed those illegal structures in coordination with the local administration and security agencies. After the demolition of the encroached structures, the Metropolitan City has now mobilized its bulldozers and tippers to remove the accumulated stones, bricks, iron rods, and other garbage debris on the road and surrounding areas. The Metropolitan City is trying to clean this up immediately as these debris on the busy roadside are causing problems for vehicular traffic and pedestrians.
