Under-Construction Bridge Nears Completion in Ramechhap

Manthali. The concrete bridge being constructed over the Bhatauli Khola, connecting Manthali Municipality-7 and Khadadevi Rural Municipality-4 in the district, has reached its final stage. Work on this single-span bridge is being intensified with the goal of completing it by the end of this Jestha. The bridge is being constructed at a cost of Rs 33.365 million from the Bagmati Province government, informed construction entrepreneur Deepak Thapa. District Infrastructure Office Chief Gyanendra Prasad Pun informed that the construction was delayed for some time due to a change required in the bridge's previous design, with work having started three years ago. He mentioned that once the bridge is completed, it will be easier to transport vegetables and other agricultural produce from Madi and surrounding areas to the district headquarters and the capital, Kathmandu. Local Khem Bahadur Khatri of Khadadevi Rural Municipality-4 stated that this will ease citizen movement and facilitate the marketing of agricultural produce.
