Government to Hand Over Motipur Industrial Area to Private Sector

Butwal. The government has announced to hand over the construction and operation of the Motipur Industrial Area in Butwal, Rupandehi to the private sector.

Presenting the annual estimate of revenue and expenditure (budget) for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Friday, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle stated that some other industrial areas, including the Motipur Industrial Area, will be constructed and operated through the private sector.

Finance Minister Wagle announced that the responsibility for the construction and operation of projects including the Motipur Industrial Area in Rupandehi and Mayuradhap Industrial Area will be given to the private sector.
