Government Doubles Nutrition Allowance for Dalit Girls to Rs 1,000 Monthly

Kathmandu. The government has doubled the nutrition allowance provided to Dalit and backward girls.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced this while presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 in Parliament. He announced that such nutrition allowance will be increased to Rs 1,000 per month.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle announced in the budget speech that the child nutrition allowance received by Dalit children across the country has been doubled to Rs 1,000 per month.
