Nepal's Economy Reaches 66 Trillion Rupees in FY 2082/83

Kathmandu. According to the Economic Survey 2082/83, the size of Nepal's economy has reached 66 trillion and 9 crore rupees in the current fiscal year. 

According to the Economic Survey 2082/83 released by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle on Wednesday, the size of the economy has exceeded 66 trillion in the current fiscal year. 

According to Finance Minister Wagle, among the provinces, Bagmati Province has the largest contribution to the economy. It holds a share of 36.7 percent, while Karnali Province has the smallest share at 4.2 percent, the Finance Minister mentioned. Consumption's share is expected to be high in Nepal's economy. 

Consumption's share in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is expected to be 90.3 percent. During this period, per capita Gross Domestic Product has reached 1,513, and per capita national income has reached 1,535. 

Similarly, disposable income is estimated to reach 2,055 US dollars.
