Karnali Province Government Provides Auto Driving Training to Mothers in Birendranagar

‎‎Surkhet. Karnali Province Government has provided auto driving training to mothers temporarily residing in Birendranagar to educate their children. They were given a 30-day training under skill development training. 50 mothers from various places in Karnali, who were staying in Birendranagar city to educate their children, participated in the training.

‎‎At the closing session of the training, participating Social Development Minister Ghanshyam Bhandari said that skill-based training has been arranged for women for social empowerment and to become self-reliant.

‎‎'I suggest implementing the skills professionally,' he said, 'To be self-reliant, it is necessary to engage in some self-employment work, and the government will always support such work.'

‎‎Bhandari also stated that previously, training such as pickle making, bangles and vermilion making, cake making, mushroom production, and sewing and cutting have also been conducted.

‎‎Previously, Birendranagar Municipality had also run a similar program. Currently, more than two dozen women in Birendranagar are earning a livelihood by operating autos.
