Restaurant Owner Attacked by Group in Bhimdatta Municipality

Kathmandu. A restaurant operator in Ward No.-4 of Bhimdatta Municipality in Kanchanpur has been attacked by another group. Young people attacked the operator of Grand Pacific Restaurant around 9 PM on Saturday night.

Restaurant operator Govinda Chand was injured in the attack by young people who entered the restaurant. Initially, two young people entered and started attacking Chand, who was sitting at a table.

Later, more young people suddenly entered and beat him, and the CCTV footage has gone viral on social media. Inspector Virendra Singh Thapa of the District Police Office, Kanchanpur told Ratopati that an investigation is underway into those involved in the incident. He said, 'We are investigating the incident that happened last night.'
