Kuber Giri Honored with National Film Journalism Award 2083

Kathmandu. Ratopati journalist Kuber Giri has been honored with the 'National Film Journalism Award 2083'. On Thursday evening, on the occasion of the '27th Anniversary of the Film Journalists Association and National Film Journalism Day', Giri was honored with a garland, bouquet, trophy, and certificate of honor by Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC, Superstar Rajesh Hamal, Evergreen Actress Karishma Manandhar, Senior Actresses Bhuwan Chand, Vasundhara Bhusal, Chaitradevi Sir, Actress Rekha Thapa, Actor Nikhil Upreti, and others.  

Giri, who has been active in film journalism for the past two decades, has received more than 4 dozen awards and honors nationally and internationally. Giri, who is also the former Vice-President of the Film Journalists Association, has also worked in the Central Film Censor Board of the Government of Nepal.

After working with various weeklies, radio, F, 3 national dailies, and Nepal Television, Giri has been associated with Ratopati for the last decade.

In the program, Ananta Wagle was honored with the 'National Film Journalism Silver Award 2083', and Jaya n Subba Manandhar was honored with the 'National Film Journalism Award 2083'.

Similarly, Security Bhattarai was awarded the late journalist Dinesh Sitoula Memorial 'National Film Journalism Award 2083', and Baikuntha Raj Parajuli was awarded the 'National Film Journalism Award 2083'. The late journalist Dinesh Sitoula was honored with the 'National Film Journalism Posthumous Special Award 2083 Award'.

In the program, journalist Milan Dhungel was awarded the 'National Film Journalism Encouragement Award 2083'.
