Police Seize 12kg Drugs, Weapons, Arrest Six in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Police have recovered 12 kg of the drug Poland from Boudha, Kathmandu. A team deployed from the Metropolitan Crime Investigation Office on Tuesday arrested six people along with a pistol and an airgun.

Poland is the substance used by drug users by grinding cannabis into powder and smoking it in cigarettes. After arresting the drug users, it was revealed during the investigation that they also possessed weapons.

A pistol and an airgun were recovered from the garbage collection center in Jwalamukhi, Boudha, where they were hidden, SSP Santosh Khadka of the Metropolitan Crime Investigation Office told Ratopati.

Police have arrested six people involved in the incident. Those arrested include Binod Adhikari, Bikash Sunuwar, Sudip Pariyar, and Sakson Dorje Lama, all from Sindhuli. SSP Khadka informed that the accused are under investigation.
