Madhav Kumar Nepal Pays Tributes to Madan Bhandari and Jivraj Ashrit on 33rd Memorial Day

Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and CPN Co-coordinator Madhav Kumar Nepal has paid heartfelt tributes to जननेता Madan Bhandari and Jivraj Ashrit on the occasion of their 33rd memorial day.

Issuing a statement, Nepal recalled that the mysterious deaths of two prominent figures of the Nepali communist movement caused irreparable damage to the country.

Describing जननेता Madan Bhandari as a new thinker and ideologue of the Nepali communist movement, he mentioned that the 'People's Multiparty Democracy' (Jabaj) he propounded gave a unique direction to the Nepali revolution. He stated that Bhandari's ideology made the communist movement in Nepal popular and strong at a time when the communist movement worldwide was in a defensive state. Similarly, he specially remembered the role played by Jivraj Ashrit in the party's methods, procedures, and organization building.

In his message, former Prime Minister Nepal discussed the current political challenges, stating that the struggle against right-wing opportunism, arrogance, and revisionism will continue. He warned the cadres, expressing concern that attempts are being made to destroy the federal democratic republic obtained through the people's struggle and push the communist movement towards revisionism.
