Technician Dies From Electric Shock While Repairing Internet Line in Kapilvastu

Kapilvastu. A technician has died from an electric shock while repairing an internet line in Kharendrapur of Shivaraj Municipality-3.

Technician Lekhu Thapa, who was working at Panchakanya JVM Cable Net Chandrapur, died from an electric shock while repairing the internet line, informed District Police Office Superintendent of Police Santosh Acharya.

According to the police, Thapa, a permanent resident of Ridi Kot Rural Municipality-8 in Palpa, was currently living in Madawa of Shivaraj Municipality-3. Thapa was seriously injured after being electrocuted. Locals and colleagues immediately rescued him and took him to Buddha Polyclinic Kharendrapur for treatment. After initial treatment there, his condition appeared serious, and he was sent to Butwal for further treatment.

Police Superintendent Acharya said that he died during treatment at a hospital in Butwal. After the incident, the family and relatives of the deceased have demanded an investigation into the truth of the incident.
