Pickup Driver Dies During Treatment After Accident

Kathmandu. The driver, who was seriously injured in a pickup accident while coming to Kathmandu from Makwanpur, has died during treatment. On Friday, the driver Mukund Jhyari Magar was seriously injured when a pickup met with an accident at the Dakshinkali road section in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-3 Ghar-kholsa of Makwanpur. 

The police headquarters informed that 45-year-old Jhyari Magar died on Sunday morning at Patan Hospital in Lalitpur during treatment. 

The pickup with registration number Bagmati Province 01-026 Cha 5599 went out of control and fell 150 meters down the road at around 6:30 AM on Friday. Driver Jhyari Magar is a local of Thaha Municipality Ward Number-9 Chitlang in Makwanpur. 

Doctors at Patan Hospital declared him dead on Sunday morning. The police are investigating the incident.
