Rupandehi Police Arrest 11 for Disturbing Public Peace, Seize Modified Motorcycles

Rupandehi. The District Police Office, Rupandehi has taken 11 people under control on charges of disturbing public peace and order. Police teams deployed from the District Police Office and subordinate offices apprehended them during a 'sweep operation' in various places in Rupandehi. 

The police also recovered modified motorcycles from the individuals. 

Among those arrested are Bipin Pariyar of Saina-Maina Municipality Ward No. 8, Rupandehi, and Krishna Gupta of Sammari-Mai Rural Municipality Ward No. 6 Nagouliya. Police have also taken Kusudev Yadav and Pawan Gupta, residents of Nagouliya in the same rural municipality, under control. Indian citizen Sudip Kurmi, a resident of Adḍābājār, Thana Navatuna, Maharajganj District, India, is also among those arrested. 

Similarly, police have taken youths under control from various wards of Siddharthanagar Municipality. Dilip Kurmi, Rojhan Bohora Chhetri, and Vijay Rajbhar from Siddharthanagar Ward No. 9, Pratiyush Basnyal from Ward No. 12, and Sumidra Rana from Ward No. 6 have been arrested. Police have also taken Ayuth Poudel of Mayadevi Rural Municipality Ward No. 8, Rupandehi, under control. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police and Information Officer Krishna Kumar Chand informed that further investigation into the individuals taken under control is ongoing.
