Rastriya Swatantra Party Organizes National Policy Brainstorming on Disaster Risk Reduction

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is organizing a national policy brainstorming program on the topic of 'Disaster Risk Reduction and Disaster Management' today.

The program, organized by RSP's 'Party-Parliament-Government Coordination Committee', will discuss various issues of disaster risk reduction and management, informed General Secretary Bhupadev Shah.

Dr. Gaurav Sagar Dawadi, representative of the Technical Assistance and Strategic Learning Project for Disaster Resilience Thematic Chief, will provide training as the chief speaker in the policy brainstorming program starting at 3 PM.

Director General of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology Dr. Archana Shrestha, Helambu Rural Municipality Chairman Nima Gyaljen Sherpa, Armed Police Senior Superintendent Rajesh Upreti, representative of the Women's Forum for Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Work Krishna Karki, Executive Director of the Center for Inclusive Development and Research Bimal Gadail, and Acting Chief of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority Amrit Shrestha will exchange experiences in the interaction.
