Dailekh. Nepali Congress Dailekh Secretary Khemraj Oli has resigned. Writing a letter on Saturday, he resigned from his post citing difficulty working within the party.

'Currently, the country is in an extremely difficult situation and the country is being run in an authoritarian manner,' he said. 'In this situation, the democratic system itself is in danger. At such a time, our party should have taken responsibility, operated the party with mutual understanding among all leaders, strengthened the party, and boosted the morale of the workers and the public. However, due to daily greed for positions, disputes have arisen within the party.'

He said that due to the complete difficulty in carrying out the party's work in this controversial situation, he has resigned from the post of party secretary.
