Three New Nepali Films Release Simultaneously

Kathmandu. Today (Friday), three new films have been released simultaneously in Nepali halls. The films are Guruaama, Malti Mangale and Lalibazar. All three films have been released simultaneously, maintaining the tradition of Friday release.

The stories and actors of all three films are different. Among them, Guruaama and Malti Mangale have been released on their pre-determined dates, while Lalibazar, due to controversy, could not be released last Friday and has been released today.

Lalibazar:

Lalibazar has been released today after the interim order issued by the High Court Patan to stop its screening prevented its release last Friday. Based on the story of the Badi community, the High Court Patan cleared the film for screening on Wednesday. This film, produced by Shadkon Arts, features Swastima Khadka in the role of a woman from the Badi community.

In addition to Swastima, the film stars Rabindra Singh Baniya, Mukunda Kumar Shrestha, child artist Samaaira Thapa, and debut artists Vishal Devkota and Pransha Subedi. The film is directed by Yam Thapa. A premiere of the film, produced by Max Dipesh Khatri, featuring actor Rabindra Singh Baniya and director Pradeep Bhattarai, was held on Thursday evening. It was attended by a significant number of artists and film journalists. Most of those who attended the premiere gave positive feedback about the film.

Malti Mangale:

The film 'Malti Mangale', produced by singer Ramkrishna Dhakal, has also been released today. Directed by P.R. K. Pandey, the film covers the love and social environment of a rural couple. Vijay Baral and Barsha Raut play the lead roles in the film. 

In addition to Vijay and Barsha, the film features Maxam Gaudel, Prakash Ghimire, Sarita Giri, and child artists Narin Thapa and Mansu Sapkota. Sagar Gyawali is the executive producer of the film. A premiere of the film was held on Wednesday evening. The film received mixed reactions at the premiere.

Guruaama:

Another film released today is 'Guruaama'. This film, produced and directed by Prem Soni Sunar, conveys the message of how adolescents fall into addiction and the role of parents in it. The film features veteran actors Mithila Sharma, Gauri Malla, Buddhi Tamang, Tika Sanu, and Sushma Thapa.

Director Sunar stated that the film was made with the objective of improving the relationship between teachers, students, and parents. The film, with a story by Prem Soni Sunar himself, has been produced under the banner of Soni Films Pvt. Ltd.
