Lucknow Super Giants Defeat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 9 Runs via DLS Method

Kathmandu. In the Indian Premier League, Lucknow Super Giants defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 9 runs according to the DLS method in the match held on Thursday.

In the match shortened to 19 overs due to rain, after Bengaluru chose to field after winning the toss, Lucknow, batting first, prepared a huge total of 209 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the stipulated 19 overs with the help of Mitchell Marsh's explosive century. For Lucknow, Marsh played a brilliant innings of 111 runs in just 56 balls. Nicholas Pooran supported him well with 38 runs and Rishabh Pant remained unbeaten on 32 runs.

Bengaluru, who came out to bat in response, could only score 203 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 19 overs. Although Rajat Patidar scored the highest 61 runs for Bengaluru, he could not lead the team to victory. Similarly, Tim David contributed 40 runs and Devdutt Padikkal contributed 34 runs.
