Third Corruption Case Filed in Pokhara Airport Construction

Kathmandu. The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has reached the Special Court with a third case in the corruption case related to the construction of Pokhara Airport. 

A source from the Commission said that the case filed against some former ministers is currently in the process of being verified at the Special Court. 
Earlier in Chaitra, the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority had filed a case against 21 individuals including former Tourism Secretary Kedar Bahadur Adhikari and two companies. 

When the Commission filed the first case, it had presented details stating that an investigation was underway regarding revenue exemption and other issues in the construction of Pokhara Airport and that a case would be filed soon. 

Similarly, in Mangsir, the Commission had registered a case against former Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministers Bhim Acharya, Ramkumar Shrestha, Deepak Amatya, Dr. Ramsharan Mahat and the late Post Bahadur Bogati.
