Seven Construction Firms Blacklisted by Public Procurement Monitoring Office

Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted seven construction entrepreneurs and suppliers.

Based on the recommendations of various public bodies, the office has banned these companies for one to two years in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2063.

Those blacklisted include Anup Construction, Goril Nirman Sewa, Kripa Engineering, Gangotri Devi Nirman Sewa, Ans human Nirman Sewa, and Achyut Construction. These six companies have been blacklisted for one year, while M/S ELC Electroconsult of Italy has been banned for two years based on the recommendation of the Nepal Electricity Authority, according to a notice issued by the office on Tuesday.

The blacklisted companies will not be able to participate in any government contracts or procurement processes for the specified period.
