Burglary in Sarlahi: Cash and Jewelry Worth Over 2.2 Million Stolen

Sarlahi. A burglary occurred last night in Chandranagar Rural Municipality, Sarlahi, resulting in the theft of valuables worth hundreds of thousands. Thieves broke into the home of Rambabu Sah, a resident of Chandranagar Rural Municipality-3, Barkurwa, at midnight and stole gold and silver jewelry along with cash, totaling approximately 2.27 million rupees.

Police reported that the thieves entered the house while the Sah family was asleep and made off with the precious jewelry and cash. The individuals involved in the theft are currently at large, and their identities have not yet been established.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have deployed personnel to various checkpoints and potential locations to search for the suspects who are currently on the run.
