RPP dismisses central member Ranjan Karki from all party responsibilities

Kathmandu. The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has dismissed central member Ranjan Karki from all party responsibilities. Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden decided to remove Karki from all positions, including his role as a central member, in accordance with the party's statute.

Spokesperson and Head of the Publicity Department, Mohan Kumar Shrestha, stated that Karki was removed for continuously spreading rumors and making hateful remarks against the party's policies and leadership in the media and on social networks.

Additionally, Karki has been accused of failing to travel to his home district of Dolakha on the day of the last election and abstaining from the voting process, while repeatedly making 'tainted' comments regarding the election.

The statement issued by Shrestha on Friday mentions that he was dismissed after being found involved in activities contrary to the party's interests.
