Home Ministry Transfers and Appoints 15 Senior Superintendents of Police

Kathmandu. The Home Ministry has transferred 15 Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) and appointed 8.

Among those transferred, Binod Raj Shrestha has been brought to the National Security Council Secretariat, Singh Durbar, from Armed Police Force No. 6 Maheshwari Bahini Headquarters, Surkhet. Similarly, Kiran Dhungana has been transferred to the Intelligence Bureau of the Armed Police.

Bhoopendra KC, who was in the Human Resources Department of the Headquarters, has been transferred to the Stores Division, and Sudhir Jang Thapa has been transferred to the Operations Department. Rabin Raj Karna Jit, who was in the Border Security Department of the Armed Police Force, has been moved to the Operations Department, and Bharat Khaniya from the Disaster Management Training School, Kurintar, has been moved to the Border Security Department.

Similarly, Jahar Singh Buda Magar has been transferred to the AP Command and Staff College and Janak Puri to the UN Peacekeeping Training School, Kakani. Other transfers include Kamal Prasad Tiwary, Uddhav Bahadur Neupane, Gangaram Shrestha, Bikash Ghimire, Yadav Bishwakarma, Top Bahadur Khanal, and Ashok Kumar Bam.

8 SSPs Appointed

The ministry has also appointed 8 SSPs to various battalions and departments.

Deepak Kumar Thapa has been appointed to the Management Division, Headquarters; Sudhir Subedi to the Human Resources Department, Headquarters; Mahesh KC to No. 1 Barah Bahini Headquarters, Sunsari; Prakash Kumar Subedi to No. 6 Maheshwari Bahini Headquarters, Surkhet; Chitrangat Dahal to No. 7 Baidyanath Bahini Headquarters, Kailali; Subash Bhandari to No. 2 Chhinnamasta Bahini Headquarters, Mahottari; Pradip Singh Karki to No. 4 Muktinath Bahini Headquarters, Kaski; and Sanjay Bhattarai to No. 3 Gadhimai Bahini Headquarters, Makwanpur.
