President Trump Announces Three-Week Extension of Lebanon-Israel Ceasefire

Washington D.C. U.S. President Donald Trump has announced an extension of the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel for an additional three weeks. Through his social media platform Truth, the President stated that the talks held at the White House between negotiators from Lebanon and Israeli occupation were productive.

President Trump also confirmed that preparations are underway for a meeting between Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to establish permanent peace.

The second round of direct talks between Lebanon and Israeli occupation was hosted at the White House, with the objective of reaching a permanent peace agreement between the two parties.
