'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' Volume V Promoted in Bishkek

Bishkek. The promotion program of the fifth volume of Chinese President Xi Jinping's book 'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on July 13.

Participants in the program described this fifth volume as an authoritative work. They stated that it comprehensively and systematically covers the latest achievements of Xi Jinping's ideas on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.

Participants said the book will help deepen the international community's understanding of contemporary China. The book elaborates on the specific characteristics, practical approaches, and remarkable achievements of Chinese modernization. It is believed to provide important reference material for all countries, including Kyrgyzstan, to chart a development path suited to their national conditions. It will also provide significant energy for deepening political mutual trust, expanding practical cooperation, and maintaining regional peace and stability among the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, participants noted.

During the program, the Chinese delegation presented Kyrgyz guests with Russian and Kyrgyz versions of the fifth and third volumes of 'Xi Jinping: The Governance of China' as gifts. Experts and scholars participating in the program held in-depth discussions on topics such as Chinese modernization, building a community with a shared future for mankind, the global governance initiative, high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations. On the occasion, a Kyrgyz health worker and a journalist also shared the results of practical cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan based on a people-centered philosophy.

The program, jointly organized by China's State Council Information Office, China International Communications Group, and the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, was attended by approximately 300 guests, including representatives from higher education institutions, think tanks, media organizations, and other sectors of both countries.
