CPN-UML to Mark 77th Foundation Day with Special Event

Kathmandu. The CPN-UML is hosting a special event today to mark its 77th foundation day. The party stated that Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the program, which will be held at the central office in Chyasal after 2 PM.

Oli, who recently underwent gallbladder surgery, has not yet fully recovered. Consequently, his participation in the foundation day event remained uncertain until Tuesday afternoon. However, after expressing his desire to attend, he is set to participate in Wednesday's program.

Meanwhile, the CPN-UML has prepared two types of invitation cards for the event at the central office. One card features the party flag, election symbol, and portraits of the CPN founders, while the other also includes a photograph of Chairman Oli.

Dr. Bhishma Adhikari, secretary of the CPN-UML central office, informed that unlike in previous years, the party will not be honoring veterans who contributed significantly to the communist movement during this year's foundation day celebration.
