Cricket Association of Nepal Announces Nepal A Squad for Oman Series

Kathmandu. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the Nepal A squad for the upcoming one-day series against Oman. CAN has selected a 14-member team led by captain Anil Kumar Sah for the two one-day matches scheduled for April 22 and 24 at the Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.

Opener Anil Sah, who has been entrusted with the leadership, has been in excellent form in both domestic and international cricket recently. The announced squad features a balance of experienced players who have represented the national team and emerging talents. 

The team includes explosive batters such as Dev Khanal, Kushal Malla, and Sandeep Jora, while the bowling department will be spearheaded by Shahab Alam, Rashid Khan, Rijan Dhakal, and Aakash Chand. Additionally, young players Santosh Yadav, Hemant Dhami, and Yuvraj Khatri have also been included in the squad.

According to CAN spokesperson Chhumbi Lama, these two matches at the Mulpani ground will help strengthen the bench depth of Nepali cricket.
