Draft of House of Representatives Rules of Procedure Submitted to Speaker

Kathmandu. The draft of the House of Representatives Rules of Procedure has been submitted to Speaker Devraj Ghimire. On Tuesday, the committee chairman and Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Ganesh Parajuli presented the draft to the Speaker.

Upon receiving the draft, Speaker Ghimire stated that the rules would be passed through the established procedural process. He emphasized that the House would be conducted in accordance with the rules, while upholding the Constitution, established precedents, and existing legal provisions.

The draft submitted by the committee consists of 30 chapters, 263 sections, and 7 schedules.
