One dead in tractor accident in Baitadi

Baitadi. One person died today in a tractor accident at Sanigad Khola in Sigas Rural Municipality-8 of the district. The tractor, with registration number Sudurpaschim Province 01-001-Ta-1384, was traveling from Lupun in Sigas Rural Municipality-8 to Deulekh in Bajhang when it met with the accident, resulting in the immediate death of 25-year-old Lokendra Bohara from Tolkhet, Sigas-8.

District Police Office spokesperson, Police Inspector Suraj Singh, stated that there were two people on board the tractor, including the driver, and confirmed Bohara's death. He added that the driver, approximately 30-year-old Dan Bahadur Dhami from Sigas Rural Municipality-5, is currently in contact with the authorities.

The tractor reportedly fell about 300 meters off the road.
